The New Adventures of Cherry Star is an adventure story for young children age's six to ten. The book may be read alone or some may need adult guidance. Synopsis: One day, while lost in one of her make believe adventures, Cherry wanders from a birthday party at a lake. She finds herself lost deep in the forest on a real adventure. Cherry uses her brains and courage to help her stay safe. Along the way, she meets a big dog and a young boy. The dog and the boy help Cherry to understand herself and others better. Themes:
