Come ‘n Read

1) There is a sample chapter of the book for you to see and read.
2) There is a New Word page for you to keep all your new words
on.
3) There are dictionary Internet web sites to help you look up
the words.
Come ‘n Play
This is the most fun section!
1. In this folder there will be a paper doll of Cherry Star for
you to print and play with.
2 . There will be a folder of clothes called Ready-2-Wear because
clothes are colored for you to cut out and use.
3 . There is a folder called Clothes-2-color. You can design and
color your own clothes for Cherry.
Come‘n Write
In this folder you will write your own chapter or
ending for Cherry Star. When you’re all through adding pictures
you can send it to the Cherry Star Web Site to share with others!
1. There is a folder of Story words you will need to write your
own: setting, character, action, plot, and conflict and ending.
2. There is a folder of storyboards for you to draw the parts
of your story on. You can do this with the computer tools or by
hand.
3. Type your story on your computer and save it on your computer.
4. Add pictures to your story from the Internet Folder.
5 . Send your story to the Cherry Star Web Site to share!
Internet Activities 
It’s always fun to search the Internet but
it’s more fun when you know where to go.
1. There is a folder that has easy and free websites for pictures
that are fun to look at and fun to use for stories and cards.
2. There is a folder of dictionary web sites that will make finding
out about new words a lot easier and faster.
3. There’s a place to send in and share stories.
