The Book:

The New Adventures of Cherry Star is an adventure story
for children who are six to ten years old. You can read the book by yourself, at school, or have someone read it to you.

The Plot:

One day, Cherry wanders from a birthday party at a lake. She finds herself lost deep in the forest on a real adventure. Cherry uses her brains and courage to help her stay safe. Along the way, she meets a big dog and a young boy. The dog and the boy help Cherry to feel good about herself and make friends.
